gnutheme respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines how we handle claims of copyright infringement on our website. By using our services, you acknowledge this policy.

This policy applies to all original works of authorship (text, images, software, etc.) posted on gnutheme that may be protected by copyright.

A proper notice must include: identification of the work, location on our site, your contact info, a statement of good faith, and a signature.

Send notices to our designated agent via email or mail. We will respond within 2 business days.

Notices that lack required elements may be ignored or rejected. We may request additional information.

You must state you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.

The notice must include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative is required.

Clearly identify the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. For multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.

Provide URLs or specific descriptions so we can locate the allegedly infringing material.

Include your name, address, telephone, and email address so we can reach you.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the user.

We will notify the user who posted the material, providing them with a copy of the notice and information about counter-notification.

The affected user may submit a counter-notification if they believe the material was removed by mistake.

Counter-notice must include identification of removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury, consent to jurisdiction, and signature.

If a counter-notice is valid, we may restore the material in 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

We will notify both parties of the restoration decision. The material may be reinstated after the waiting period.

Users who are repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. We keep records of valid DMCA notices.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who violate intellectual property rights even without repeated infringement.

Any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

gnutheme is not liable for any damages arising from the removal or restoration of material in compliance with the DMCA.

You agree to indemnify gnutheme for any claims arising from your misrepresentation or failure to comply with the DMCA.

We comply with valid subpoenas and may provide user information as required by law in connection with DMCA notices.

Many products are GPL-licensed. DMCA notices must consider that GPL allows redistribution; we will investigate each claim individually.

We are not affiliated with original developers, but we respect their copyrights. Notices should be sent to us as the distributor.

We may update this DMCA Policy at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

If any provision of this policy is found invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force.

This policy, together with our Terms & Conditions, constitutes the entire agreement regarding copyright complaints.
